Ferries From Baja To Mainland

I'm looking at a winter trip from Monterrey to Mexicali and down through Baja California and back to the mainland via ferry.

I checked Baja Ferries and it says, "no further sailings".

Any idea what is happening with ferry crossings from Baja? Something I always wanted to do and now it appears it won't happen unless I'm not reading things right.
