Ferry crossing Dawson City

Thanks, so here we go, we will travel the Chicken Road with the 40 footer

They line you up by type of vehicle, with some having priority on getting across, tankers, govt vehicles, etc.
If a caravan is leaving, it can be a 3 hour wait, but we get there between 7 and 8 AM and seldom have to wait more than for the next ferry.


Here is the ferry loaded and headed across. No backing up involved as it is a double ender.

We saw a semi tractor pulling double fuel tank trailers across in June, with autos and trucks on the ferry for the same crossing.

No restrictions on size.
