Wow....thanks everyone for the great advice and suggestions. Now to try and find all these routes and sites on maps. thank you, thank you.....but please keep it coming....soooo helpful.
We can leave anytime in April or May, but we will probably leave May 1st. That gives us two weeks to get to Sedona AZ. I was able to get one of the last sites at the only campground in Sedona AZ a few minutes ago. Rancho Sedona RV park. I just booked May 15 - 22 there. We can then drive to the north rim for the night at the lodge.
To see if we can park the rig at the lodge parking area, I'll have to call the lodge after May 15th as it is closed till then.
All the suggestions for Zion and Bryce are wonderful and we will look at Moab and our return trip too. Now I need to continue to read and study what everyone has already suggested and please..........keeep it coming. and again......thank you to everyone for spending so much time sharing your wonderful experiences and advice. they are greatly appreciated.
Now that you have 2 hard dates you will need to work backwards to see how much more you can see on the trip out.
Will you be following the Gulf Coast? Lots to see and do along the way - Beaches - Port Cities - then Texas - San Antonio and the River Walk is something we have enjoyed more than once - The Hill Country is good for a few days - Big Bend Might be on the way - Carlsbad - White Sands NM - Albuquerque with Santa Fe was interesting - Window Rock - Canyon de Chelly - Sedona - North Rim - Page - Kodachrome - Escalante - Just be sure to stop in an Info center and get info on the State Parks in UT you will not be disappointed - Lake Powell - Lake Mead - Colorado River - Then for the trip home you will need to save a month, or two for Colorado - You better get out and gas up and get started - It's big country, and the more you see the more you will want to see.
Best of Luck on the New Adventure - Learn how to post pictures and share your adventure.
Pack the bags and get moving,so much to see and touch and so little time,
