Hi. We go out west every year from Miami, Fl. in our motor home pulling a Jeep. We always take routes. I-10 over to La. and up I-49 to Shriveport. I-20 to west side of Dallas, I-35W up to Rt 289 north to I-40 at Amarillo, Tx. I-40 west to FlagStaff. Plz don't waste u'r time going down to see Sedona. Its a very curvy 2 lane road with Wall to Wall traffic. Instead stay at the wonderful KOA on the east side of Flagstaff on Hyway 89 north. At Flagstaff, see the Lowell Observatory, Walnut Canyon Indian ruins, Sunset Crater loop road & the many ruins. Amazing, beautiful, easy drive. Than continue north on 89 to S. Rim of G. canyon. Than on up to Page and make sure to stay at Wahweep RV resort ON LAKE POWELL!!! Tour Glen Canyon dam and do the indian tour of world famous Antelope slot canyon. We've done the north rim of G.Canyon and its a very pretty drive down to the canyon but the views aren't that great. The south rim views are what you want to endure the crowds to see. At Bryce, stay at Ruby's Inn RV park. Full hookups. Everything you'll need is nearby. At Bryce make sure to do the Navaho trail hike down into the bottom of the hooDoos.
