If you take UT-95, you will go past Natural Bridges National Monument and the trailhead to the South Fork of Mule Canyon and House on Fire. In Blanding there is Edge of the Cedars State Park and a Dinosaur Museum. It is not all that far South from Blanding to Monument Valley. In between are the UT-261 Scenic Backway, the Moki Dugway (don't drive in theRV), Goosenecks State Park, Hovenweep National Monument, Bluff Fort, The Valley of The Gods, Mexican Hat and the Sand Island Petroglyphs.
...Then take 24 east to Hanksville and north to I-70 to 191 for Arches Nat'l Park...plenty of RV parks in Moab for the park.
If you want even more lovely scenery leaving Capitol Reef, take 24 to Hanksville and then 95 to Blanding, Utah, then north on 191 to Moab and Arches Nat'l Park...
