Yes it is brutal here in cowtown. Just heard that the water at the Saddledome was up to row 10 in the seats in the Stampede grounds. Anything near any of the local rivers is way under water. The main river (Bow) is still rising and things are expected to get worse as the day goes on. Looks like stuff you see after hurricanes and such not in the dry area we live in for the most part. Rain is also still pouring west of here in the mountains today and will have to run through town over the next few days so it will probably be a while. Banff and Canmore west of us are pretty much cut off as bridges and roads are washing away. Going to be a tough Stampede and tourist run over the next few weeks depending on when things settle down and can get things repaired.
