Florida road 9B near Jacksonville, is it open?
Florida road 9B appears to be a newly built road that connects I-95 with I-295E near Jacksonville. Is this road open for traffic both directions? Can someone verify? Thanks.

Yes has been open for quite awhile now...nice ride..Chuck- Yes, drove it last weekend after a two day stay at Little Talbot Island.

95 already connects to 295 in about 6 major places, either directly or indirectly.
What would be the advantage of using this new connection if it was open ??
