in years now passed, we RV'd and boondocked on a Mexican beach, Tenacatita, a year and a half of winters. No electricity, we had solar and generators were highly scoffed at, disturbing a beautiful experience. We felt a bit ill only once, after eating at one of the beach hotel restaurants, one with a pool. Nothing serious, just upset for the evening. We loved the fresh vegetables and fruit, sometimes delivered right to our beach, and the milk was always good- until the best before date came around; to the day, it would turn, but that would be due to it being stored on the door and having warm beer to crowd it, when the fridge tried to cool the bottles. I only monitored the freezer compartment, usually about 5 F., but it varied widely for a couple of hours when we got back from Saturday shopping. The beer had to be cool after an hour swimming around the coral, even DW would partake, just before we enjoyed time in that nice, warm, outdoor shower tent.
