I forgot the bathroom test!!!!
If an eating place has a restroom, I ALWAYS check it before we order! It must have a place to wash hands, soap and be clean. One of the best we have ever seen had a dirt floor, but it was a clean dirt floor!
There is a fried chicken place in Zihuatanejo, if you have been here, you probably know it. Everyone ordered, I went to the toilet. Came back, refused to eat. I was the only one not sick and the severity depended upon how much each person ate. The food looked good, smelled good, but the restroom was gross.
