I've driven US 1 with a 36' with toad. It's a slow but good coast road. Near Leggett there are 15 MPH switch backs but then not so bad. Or 20 is not to bad and I wouldn't go down to 128 and back to Ft Bragg.
Wish I could go to Ft Bragg but 20 is also prohibited for us.
Approaching the GG bridge 1 is windy. South of Bodega Bay you could take the cutoff to Petaluma - good road.
