Fort Wayne to Kenosha

looking for the best route from fort Wayne, IN to Kenohsa, WI. I would like to avoid as much Chicago craziness as possible. We will coming through at around 3 in the afternoon on Wednesday July 3. I I have a feeling it is going to be a nightmare whichever way I go. Thanks for you thoughts and ideas.

    Living in Milwaukee, if I want to miss Chicago traffic, I take I-39 to I-43 going north. From there you can take hwy 50 east to Kenosha. But you gotta go pretty far south for that route,
    In just a car, I've taken the high speed ferry across Lake Michigan. Muskegon to Milwaukee. It's very pricey, but fun.

    No way to avoid it without going WAY out of the way.

    Oh man. I feel for you.

    Like you stated, that’s a no win situation. Going South, and West might just prolong the agony.

    Anyway you can change that to 3am, instead of pm?
