From Gettysburg to Lynchburg, Va

good route. From Va state line to Warrenton slow going (2 lane). Or, 81 to 66 to 15/29. I have gone both and later is 4 lane all the way.

When we returned home to Lynchburg from Gettysburg we followed 15 to 29. To get to Thousand Trails here, follow US 29 south until you intersect US 460 just east of Lynchburg. Go west on 29/460 just a few miles until you reach US 501 interchange (Campbell Avenue). Turn left and head south.

Follow US 501 south to Rustburg. At the intersection of 501 and State Route 24, turn left. Go a short distance and turn right on SR 615 (Red House Road). You will follow this route quite a few miles until you reach Mollies Creek Road. Once you turn on to Mollies Creek Rd you are close to the campground.
