Gunnison County 12 over Kebler Pass is still open, as are the Cottonwood Pass Road and CO 82 over Independence Pass. In fact, 12,000-ft. Independence Pass is listed on COTrip as "dry". The fact that it is even open in mid-October is very unusual, so it's a good thing that all the big ski areas have snow-making.
