Fuel Info - Western Canada

I just drove 800 km through the affected area.... other than gas being a bit more expensive, there is not an issue. It's just overblown media hype.

Petro Canada's now being closed in Manitoba,
Poss eastern Canada soon??

The Petro gas shortage is because their refinery in Fort MacMurray was/is shut down due to the wildfire. It will be up and running sometime in the future.

Prince George has a refinery, thus no shortage of gas here.

Just filled up with diesel at our local Petrocan. All gas pumps were closed.

Just did a little digging. It seems at least in this area it is primarily just one chain of gas stations. (Petro Canada)

The joys of driving an electric car. :). I filled (charged) Angela's car last night while sleeping. Unfortunately one of our two vehicles is still an oil burner and it's below a quarter so ........ :)
