I always preach...follow your instincts...and I have several men in my life that preached roof snow shoveling as the only thing left to do. And..my response was..No. I am NOT going to end up in hospital over some snow. But...being a 'real man'...I got about 5feet up the ladder, it shifted on the ice/snow build-up and down I came, onto my feet. Could have been my back that got broken..but yes, my left leg, where it sits on the ankle. Got two pins yesterday in surgery and now off the leg for 12 weeks.

And yes, we are not going to Mexico with Pangaea Ron and Anne. THAT would have been a good trip.
