There is always a little bit of good news hidden in all the bad that is posted here on this forum.
In our municipality of Santiago, the CFE has lowered our rates permanently from B1 to C1 and have doubled the amount of KWHs per bi-mester that we can consume before going into the DAC or commercial rate.
Even though we live in the mountains or between them it can get very hot. I read my meter daily when I get home to accommodate the use of our appliances especially the A/C. We only use the one in our bedroom but now we have the possibility of enjoying our living area too.
Yesterday, February 8th, 2017 it was a cool 37C.
So I guess things may work out as planned in terms of the Energy Reform. :)
