Coming into Gatlinburg from generally west or northerly direction, I don't recall any of the major highways having steep, narrow conditions. Now, if you drive through the National Park or come from the east those conditions do exist but I do it with a 30 ft. MH towing with no problem. I would be more concerned about the traffic getting around Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. If you hope to see scenic parts of the country it will be hard to avoid hills and curves. Perhaps you should consider a much smaller RV?
