Geomagnetic storm in progress -- watch for aurora!
They announced this last night and said it should continue for a couple of days. Good luck -- I wish I were there! Plus it's the dark of the moon, which makes it easier to see the aurora.

Last night we decided it's time to do a vaca in a month where we can see the aurora in Alaska, Iceland or Norway. If things had gone as planned this year we would have been in Fairbanks in September and would have at least had a chance to see them.
