We are planning a trip to the Georgian Bay in either Sept. or Oct. We read where it is "possible" to see the Northern Lights in Oct. Is that something that could happen if we wait, and do you normally get snow in the area of the Georgian Bay in October?
I highly recommend Killber Provincial Park, and the Kilcoursie campground in particular. Be advised that most of the provincial parks are very busy. You can book sites up to 5 mths in advance (ontario parks web site). Never seen the lights from anywhere around georgian bay though.
