My opinion, for what it is worth, is to enjoy your vacation in the Glacier National Park area. If you have your passports, take a few days and head into Canada to the Glaciers on the Canadian side, and take in Lake Louise. Otherwise, spend a few days at East Glacier, the KOA their is lovely, and tour the lodges on the East side, then drive down and around and spend a couple of days in West Glacier, which is more of a touristy town. But my choice, which we want to do again, is East Glacier, up to the Baniff ice fields.
With only twelve days, make the west coast a future vacation.
