Glacier National Park from MN, possibly Pacific coast

I say take a pass on the coast and concentrate on Glacier, up into Canada, Waterton and the Icefields parkway between Banff and Jasper. The coast is a whole destination in itself and not to rush. The granddaughter may find the great dinosaur museum in Drumheller Alberta interesting, not much out of your way.
