I could have been clearer- these weren't BEAR bears, nor were they babies- they were some sort of raccoon-size critter that the Rangers told Mom were members of the bear family and native only to Canada.
And as I type this I'm getting an uneasy feeling...
Is someone out there about to post to tell me that all these many long years my family has been repeating a story based on a couple of Canadian Rangers totally pulling my gullible Mother's leg?!?!? :@
I wouldn't want to be the one to spoil a family story about the tale of an heroic female fighting of the evasive Canadian raccoobear!!
