Grand Canyon Skywalk

New road to Skywalk finally opened
Interesting reading on subject iis found here
  • We went on the skywalk when it just opened. The road to there was very bumpy and long. It was so much fun changing a flat on that road on a Hummer H3 that we rented in Vegas. Talk about hot. Very helpful people at the reservation. They fixed the flat while we took the skywalk.
  • If you want to really see the canyon, go to the national park at a much cheaper price. The Skywalk isn't even over the main canyon. It's over a side canyon.
  • Very true. And same with the North Rim; you only see a fraction of the Grand Canyon. Only way to truly SEE the Grand Canyon is the South Rim.
  • LOOK I just found an interesting article about the road. Try reading it
  • Thanks for the post. The article was very interesting.
  • I went there a couple years ago and when I got there they told us we couldn't take any pictures once on the Skywalk...said they would take the pics and we would have to buy them from them ....I laughed and turned the F 350 around and headed to Hoover Dam.
