Grants Pass, OR to Crescent City, CA Via 199
Help! Will be traveling 199 and on the map apparently there is a tunnel just South of the Oregon border. If that is true, what kind of clearence does it have for motor homes? Any other comments?

We just did that route, and the dangers are over-rated. There are a few tight turns with well scalloped guard rails... and that is where you will probably meet an on-coming logging truck, as we did. The route is beautiful, and well worth the nervousness. We are 12'-9" high, and had no issues with height, the 8'-6" width was probably more of an issue.
