We usually us 87/200/3 to Eddies Corner,191/3 to Us-12 at Harlowton,12 to Lavina, 3 to Billings in both directions. At Billings us the truck bypass, a lot less steeper going down hill. We then pick up I-90. Been doing this way since 2004 with RV's.Even this pass Christmas eve without RV. Suggest you stop at the Little Big Horn Nat. Monument along I-90. If you are continuing on east after Gillette then there is Devils Tower north of interstate between Moorcroft and Sundance.
