Great time to be in Colorado

Summer last weekend with winter having returned yesterday/today. Hoping for summer by Sunday.

Will find out next weekend if Trail Ridge Road will open on time...as well as the Big Thompson Canyon. Lot of snow to melt off this coming week.

Tree damage in this area of northern Colorado was pretty significant, but probably not as bad as it could be.

As those on the front range always say, "Yep, we need the moisture!"

I've yet to have any of them come up to clear my drive and take it back down with them!

I've been here 54 years, but also lived in California, Texas, and Virginia, been stationed in North Carolina and Alaska, and worked in every state west of the Mississippi and quite a few to the east. I wouldn't trade any of them for Colorado!

After 13 years in Durango you can keep it.

It's always snowing in Colorado. :E Best if everyone found somewhere else to camp and live. ;)

We have 17" of beautiful, wet snow. Tomorrow it may be 65 degrees.

Sure beats having hurricanes, tornadoes, humidity, alligators, water moccasins, mosquitos, etc.

It most certainly is a winter wonderland out there this morning!

The drive into work is much better than yesterday. I have a definite 3 feet+ that fell in my yard- swept off the camper 3 times ranging from 8-14" each time... wanted to get that stuff off before it melts and then freezes. Going to be a mess when it does!
