I don't think you'll have a problem with the roadway. But expect the traffic to be bad from Pensacola until you get past Destin, well past. If you plan to take US 19 south then it is an excellent fast road until you get past Crystal River then it slows to a crawl when you hit the Tampa Bay traffic.
