Arches and Natural Bridge are on our itinerary.
Just got AllStays and it now gives road grades. DW is the navigator nd she loves it. - TexasShadowExplorer IIIt's a nice way to go, good road, no heavy traffic. Natural Bridges National park is on the route.
- RoyFExplorerHave done it twice, most recently 2012 with a fifth-wheel. Grades? yes. Curves? yes. It's one of those great drives, not to be missed. Plan the trip so that you allow enough time for Arches National Park.
- 2gypsies1Explorer IIIIt's a scenic drive. Yes, there are some turns (not hairpin) and some hills but no big mountains. It's highly recommended. RVers do it all the time. Looking at the equipment you have you'll do just fine.
- joloooteExplorerIts a beautiful route. I did it several times in our 34'Class'A' w/Toad. Make sure to stop at the Hite overlook. great views of the old Gold field Ghost town area 1000 feet below.
- pauljExplorer IIHave you looked at Google Maps:
https://maps.google.com/maps?q=Hanksville,+UT+to+Blanding,+UT&saddr=Hanksville,+UT&daddr=Blanding,+UT&hl=en&ll=37.915899,-110.38805&spn=0.0669,0.161877&sll=38.373038,-110.714039&sspn=0.032972,0.080938&geocode=Fa6GSQIdSaNm-SnPk6_agcRJhzHh7or0Up7tXg%3BFWUZPgId3355-SmB3yBRuHg3hzGZDRD2L-FDYg&oq=Hanksville,+UT+to+bla&t=h&z=13
Zoom in to see the road in great detail, even 360deg 'streetview'. Switch to Map with terrain mode to see elevation contours.
