We have been travelling through the western states from the East Coast for the past 10 years. Three months may seem like a long time, but it will go very quickly. We travel 200-250 miles per day, so it often takes us 10 days to get to our first planned destination. However, we always check out the local area every night and one night stops have turned into stays up to a week. We like to concentrate on one or two states each trip. A couple of years it was Utah.
