Banks and credit unions deal with this all the time. Most will want your payments up to date and to get a copy of the Mexican insurance. They usually get it back to you in 24 hours. Its all very easy.
Some will have certain limits they demand on the insurance but they are not abnormally high.
CALL your bank.
