Just left that area after 10 weeks - much longer than expected because we loved it! Check the reviews for the parks in the area for all the options. We had no problems with availability and try to only stay at the very best parks, but reservations early are a good idea. St. Rosa Sound in Navarre to the west of Pensacola. Both Anchors Away and Gulf State Park in the Foley area. Majestic Oaks in Biloxi. A+ RV to the west of New Orleans. We stayed at all and they were great. Parks in New Orleans get mixed reviews, so we did the occasional day trip from Biloxi. The high point of it all was Honey Island Swamp Tour north of New Orleans.
