We will be passing through Lake Oswego next week and staying with some pals at their home. just two or three nights. Not very parking friendly for our TT and i've been looking at nearby campgrounds to store it for our short stay. Sure, there are a few, but quite a ways from where we will be. We may just take one anyway so we can plug in, but any suggestions on non campgrounds to plop and park for a short period?

Closest one would probably be Pheasant Ridge http://www.pheasantridge.com/. Might also consider Champoeg State Park oregonstateparks.org. Usually have spaces especially during the week.Good luck and enjoy your trip to Oregon.

LO is kinda of a high end neighborhood - your not going to find many/any spots that will allow you to plop and park your TT (maybe your friends driveway). I agree with the pleasant ridge and Campoeg State Park recommendations.

As much as it would be nice for the park to have the revenue Camping World would likely be free or cheaper!

Find something that needs fixing on it and take it to a RV place for repair. Let them know they can have it for 3 days ;)

About 6 or 7 miles from Lake Oswego is Clackamette Park RV Park. It's only $20/night, no reservations.

The website says it's closed starting December 7 for the winter, re-opening TBA. Maybe it's open and they haven't updated the website (not uncommon for websites for these municipal parks).

The photo makes it look a lot nicer than it is, but if you're just parking your TT, it shouldn't matter. They lock the gate at 10:00 p.m
