I grew up around weapons, my kids have grown up around weapons, I have used weapons for food, competition sport and just plain fun.
I have taken weapons into Mexico and hunted. I own numerous weapons.
But I can NOT fathom 'FORGETTING' where that weapon is.
I know exactly where each and every weapon is and whether or not it is loaded and what it is loaded with.
"I forgot" is NOT an excuse and the folks are luck it only cost them some cash.
I would call it ignorance but being ignorant is just lacking information.
STUPID fits.
