Going to Newport early May. Wondering what this road is like between Corvallis and the coast? Rig in sig. Thanks and safe travels.

Thanks for the replies. We will be going from Eugene to Newport and Hwy 20 looked like the most direct route. We will be working our way down the coast to Reedsport and return to I-5 via Hwy 38 (which I have driven several times). Looking forward to it. It will be our first long trip (25 days) of the year.
