Hiway 77 from waco tx to victoria tx
Will be going to Corpus Chrishi in Feb. and would like to know how highway 77 is between Waco and corpus christi.

Just traveled that road before and after Thanksgiving. Like everyone else said it is a good 2 lane road, in some areas when going up a hill they will add a passing lane. Just south of La Grange there is a steep hill (going up when southbound) and the road gets really curvy. There is a detour around that is recommended for 18 wheelers and RV's, you might consider taking it. If you don't take the detour pay attention to the recommended speed signs for the curves.
