How do the grades compare on I-40 to 441 in NC

It has been my experience. That once you get to the top of the hill / Top of Black Mountain. Then 40 isn't really so bad on into Tenn. Some 50 MPH curves, and some minor hills, but nothing major.

And depending on how you intend to get to 40. I-26 has a pretty good (6%) grade at Saluda. Again not as bad as Black Mountain.
