We have been to Honduras 3 times. Have driven from one end of country to another. No problems except lately the transcito police are like in Tampico. They will stop you when they see that you are a tourist. But the one thing they will ticket you for besides no seat belts is traffic triangles reflectors. You are required to have them, to put behind rig in case of a breakdown. So you must produce them when asked.
