We are hoping to travel Hwy 101 from Crescent City CA to Astoria OR around March 20th and then through WA to Sequim . Is the Astoria bridge usually passable at this time? Would you continue from Ast...

Like donn says above...the bridge is almost always open...but it can be windy, especially in the afternoon or during a storm.
The route around the Olympic Peninsula on 101 is your choice either way...take your pick. We go both just to shake it up for variety.
