- 2gypsies1Explorer IIIThanks for returning and giving an update. . . wish more folks would do this. We always wonder how things turned out.
- Toolguy5Explorer IIIWe took this drive today. It was a beautiful drive.
- ramyankeeExplorerAgreed...
- 2gypsies1Explorer IIIIt runs along the river so it's very scenic!
- FulltimersExplorerOne of the nicest drives I have been on in my travels around the country. Did it a couple of times with my 36 foot Class A with toad attached. Easy drive.
- romoreExplorer III agree. It is a beautiful drive but please be courteous to the drivers behind you.
- Pangaea_RonExplorerIt's a great trip, take it slowly and you will have no issues.
Read about Chief Joseph "I will fight no more forever", and Lewis and Clark for a bit of history of that route. - MurphsmomExplorerShouldn't be any problem. They took the mega loads to the Alberta Tar Sands project over that highway. Take your time and enjoy the gorgeous scenery. Just remember to use the turnouts. The people behind you will appreciate it.
- RoyFExplorerI've been that way several times; it's great scenery. Lots of curves, so take it slow. Some waterfalls along the way are worth a stop. (If you were in a hurry, you would not be on that road in the first place.)
