Lots of places in the Smithers area. You can boondock in the Safeway lit...wifi, too. If that gets full, there is a school and nice adjacent roads just across 16.
If a person wanted...run up to Topely, turn right (south) just before the store on Sunset Lake Road and follow the signs for Sunset Lake Rec Site. About a 10 minute drive.
If people are coming down from Stewart, maybe just hang around Kitwanga for the day and night. Smithers and east is going to be pretty crowded, I suspect.
