We run US 2 from Mackinac to Shelby, MT, (I-15) and ran it the end of May this year. An excellent route. 4 lane thru ND, and a lot of MN, but light enough traffic on the 2 lane parts to be no trouble what so ever. A bit slow around Williston, ND due to oil boom traffic, but nothing that would cause me to take another route either. There were some isolated construction here and there, but no major projects for extended distances. US-2 is my wife's favorite drive, and getting my turn behind the wheel when she's driving it can be a bit of a chore sometimes. (LOL)
