I've driven Hwy 126-Eugene/Florence as well as Hwy 38, both are good roads but does seem like fewer turn outs on 38 if you are behind a slow vehicle or if you want to pull out. We took it with our Motorhome and a 16' ATV trailer, going both routes - really is a toss up. The plus is you avoid Beltline and the Eugene traffic, downside is few more log trucks on 38.
