Hwy 550 from Albuquerque to Durango, Co
Heading north on 550 in the next couple of days, any info on construction or highway conditions appreciated. Thanks in advance..

- If tempted to visit Navajo Lake, avoid 511/172 combo! Backtrack to 550 instead.
- we've used it several times and found nothing bad about it.
- Leaving the 11th for the same place. Be in Rio Rancho for few days doing VA stuff.
- Be careful, 4 lane, non-divided highway. Lots of fatalities.
