You will have no problems at all, the section from Ouray to Silverton is the concern from there just a normal two way hwy. Semi's do it and no one is pushed of a cliff every day. So anyone that rv's in a rig bigger than a 24' class C is out to intimidate the little ones, with a monster rig DUMB remark.
Well excuuuuse me....:S
In addition to driving my 24' Class C I ride about 15,000 miles a year on my Harley. Three times this year, so far, twice in Utah at Arches NP and once in Colorado I have come around a curve and found a huge Class A pulling a Toad or enclosed trailer six feet over the double yellow trying very hard to murder my bride and I. Trust me, when you see them from the shoulder you are trying to get to without dying they are in fact Monsters operated by idiots.
You can NEVER, ever, for any reason cross a double yellow line. I have followed dozens of these large rigs and watched them abuse the double yellow though I admit it is less scary when you are stuck behind them. Not every rig belongs on every road.
