Hi, we actually just took that road/route on the way to Memphis. The road from Jonesboro into Memphis is dual lane and a future interstate. North and West of Jonesboro, the road is mostly single land, curvy and lots of up and down smaller mountains. Not a lot of elevation. We did in a F350 towing a 36' fifth wheel. Most of the uphill sections have slow lanes where you can move over and lot other vehicles pass you. Lots of smaller towns to go thru. Doable road in my opinion.
Have a good trip
PS. No signs of flooding and we came thru there 3 days ago. You can do 55 easily in a car, if someone behind you is in a hurry, let them pass on the uphill side.
