The Sherwin Grade just north of bishop is about 7.5 miles long to Tom's Place and 7% grade. Conway Summit Grade is not as log or steep and the rest are gentle. We see lots of RVs of the 40'+/- with toweds and a lot of smaller rigs too.
Levining has a great place to eat called The Whoa Nellie Deli on Hwy 120 about foo' from 395. East of Levining/Mono lake is Adobe Canyon and a herd of wild horses. A little past Conway Summit is the turn of for Bodi, a ghost town that is in a state of arrested decay. Drive slowly through Bridgeport the county seat. The Walker Canyon Canyon still shows the effects of a big flash flood. You can still see the remains of a café.
Get your gass in Bishop at the Piute Palace or the Arco Station or Giggle Springs. Lee Vining is a lot mor expensive than Bishop or Bridgeport.
Have Fun.
