I 10 in Texas

In your opinion how is the 10 for driving thru Houston with a 40' towing? Also San Antonio?? We would like to stay as close to the 10 as possible in the winter heading home. Just trying to get ahead of ourselves planning.

    Houston straight thru but not rush hour. West from Houston is fast and easy but long and boring.

    Houston is a pain in the rear but I don't know of anyway around it. So just grit your teeth and drive on thru, we do it every time we go that way. San Antonio is easy by comparison
