I-22 connection to I-65 in Birmingham

We will be travelling East on the new I-22 from Memphis toward Atlanta next week. I haven't been on it since 2011. It appears that I-22 still isn't finished where it connects to I-65 just North of Birmingham. I read that I will get off I-22 at Coalburg Road and take that to connect with I-65 via 41st Ave at exit 264. Has anyone gone through here lately and if so, how is Coalburg Road going to be pulling a 39' 5er? Thanks in advance.

    I'm not sure if this is too late to be any help, but we just drove that section of road you're referring to and it was fine. We drove from east to west and there were signs saying that there was no access for large trucks, but we chanced it and it was okay. The road is narrow and there's absolutely no shoulder, though.
