I-40 Anything worth seeing

We leave 9-22 heading to Utah for the Mighty 5 loop then on to Sedona.
Starting in Page & allowing 24 days doing the loop before heading to Sedona (reservations made). I have allowed 2 extra days for the drive from Bristol, Va to Page, AZ. Assuming all goes well and we make good time, is there any "must see/do" along I-40? It would be nice to have a break along the way.

    One thing in Sedona is "Slide Rock". Especially nice if you have children. Staying high, up near Flagstaff will help, if you can find a place up there. But, it's going to be hot, hot, hot everywhere else in Arizona (115*+). Page Arizona is one looonely drive.
