Yet another dining recommendation...Prejeans Cajun restaurant located just north of I-10 on I-49. The management is RV friendly, good food and live Cajun music every night. While in the area, try some boudin (Cajun sausage). If you like back roads, just south of Broussard, La you can take Hwy 82 (old hwy 90) south that parallels highway 90. This road will be a slow ride through all the old bayou towns down to Morgan City, La. This route will give you a good feel of south Louisiana. Once you get to Belle Chase you should head south to Venice, go fishing and eat some fresh Tuna! Have a trip!
(Although I live in South Carolina, I'm from Lafayette and still work out of south Louisiana as a Tow Boat Captain.)
